The benefits of UCaaS for an enterprise are well known.  By utilizing a hosted service, the enterprise would not need to invest upfront money on purchasing a premise-based platform, and since the maintenance and security updates are part of the service (i.e. upgrades are typically part of a service), the enterprise could cut down on specific voice service staff and thus save money.  Additionally, UCaaS services typically came with both mobile and desktop clients, that utilize the business phone number, so working remotely is very easy to do.  And these clients come with chat and presence services that enable more efficient intra-company communication.
